Crazy for crepes! Located in Hollidaysburg is Allegheny Creamery & Crepes. The address is 505 Allegheny St, Hollidaysburg, Pa. “I love this restaurant. It is one of my favorites. The service is quick and friendly, and the food is delicious,” Charlie Kephart said.

A Better Cut! Located at 913 Logan Blvd., Altoona Pa. At this salon, they preform haircuts, hair coloring, manicures, pedicures and false lashes. The hairstylists are very nice and every time I go, I get the best results. Whatever I ask for they can do, client Alyssa Kephart said.

Beautiful boutiques. Located on 1548 E Pleasant Valley Blvd. Altoona, Pa. is the 31:25 Boutique. Also, located in the same building is Caribbean Sun Tan & Spa. The workers there are so kind and the clothes they sell are very cute and trendy, eighth grader Livi Adams said.

A surprise assembly was shown at the school. Little did the students know, it was a whole performance. Eight grader Mackenzie Dickson said, I didnt expect that at all, but it was really fun.
Being Yourself is the Best Style
Coffee! Coffee On 3rd in Duncansville is a cute, small business coffee shop. Coffee on 3rd is owned by a small family that lives here in Altoona and is open about their faith and sharing smiles through coffee! The founder and owner of Ashlyn Dugan said, We share faith, so I think the biggest accomplishment is one having good coffee and just being a good ground for the community!

Pretty Poppy! This is Poppy the Dachshund. She was two-years-old, and enjoyed naps, playing with toys and eating bell peppers. According to her owner Lydia Schimansky, I love Poppy so much, I couldnt have asked for a better dog!

Licari Boutique up and running! Licari is located in the Walmart Plaza and is just beginning to get its feet off of the ground. They are planning to put a sign up outside and have the public know just where to get the best aesthetic shirts, dresses and much more accessories!

Hey! My name is Andie Kephart, and I'm an eighth grader and reporter for Livewire. I really enjoy writing, reporting and photography. I'm very excited to be a part of the Livewire staff. Outside of school, I enjoy doing competitive weightlifting, painting and spending time with my friends. I have been lifting for 3 years now and have competed in many national competitions  all across  the U.S.  My favorite quote that I hear coaches and teachers say is, “Give 110% in all that you do.” I try to apply this to my life in the things that I do. My future plans are to go to Penn State University and become a physical therapist.

    I went there once, and it was really good. The food was good, and the inside of the building looks really cool! I defintiely recommend it!
