Rules for Mansion Park
In order to maintain a safe, orderly and enjoyable atmosphere for all those attending the 8th grade football game at Mansion Park on Wednesday evening, the following guidelines will be followed for students/spectators entering Mansion Park Stadium. These rules and procedures will be enforced at all times in order to keep our fans safe and students well supervised.
· All students in grades 6 through 12 are required to present a school-issued ID. They must sit in the designated student section that will be monitored by stadium officials. Or they may sit with their parents or guardians for the entirety of the game.
· Students in grades K-5 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult for the entirety of the game.
· No backpacks will be permitted in the stadium. All bags and belongings are subject to search and seizure.
· No loitering is permitted. Students/Spectators must sit in the stands. Aisles must be kept clear at all times. Congregating under the bleachers or around the concession areas will not be permitted. Standing along the field fence during the game is prohibited.
· There will be no walking around the outside of the field during the football game.
· Students/Spectators who throw food, drink, or other items will be immediately escorted from the stadium, will not be allowed re-admittance, and may be banned from the stadium for the remainder of the school year.

The Altoona Lady Lions soccer team traveled to Conemaugh Township last evening to face the Lady Indians and won 4-2. Calli Ingham opened the scoring with an assist from Maura Farabaugh, followed by a powerful 30-yard shot from Leah Connolly. Evie Irwin assisted Morgan Irwin for the third goal, and Maura Farabaugh added a fourth. Despite a late push from the Lady Indians, Altoona maintained control in the final 15 minutes to secure the victory, enjoying great fall weather and a scenic autumn backdrop.
The Mountain Lion soccer team trekked to Conemaugh Township on October 7. About 10 minutes into the game, Finn Black received a pass from Ki’Yonte Barnes and volleyed his shot from 35 yards out into the top of the goal. But he wasn’t done yet. Finn went on to score another lazer into the back of the net to end the half 2-0. Conemaugh almost made a great comeback but Finn Black placed a perfect ball to Ki’Yonte and slammed it into the corner of the net to make the score 3-1. Another Conemaugh goal ended the game with a score of 3-2. This win puts their record to 5-5-2 on the season. The boys play again on October 8 at home against Dubois and at Hollidaysburg on Thursday.
