The seventh and eighth grade distance runners practice for their upcoming season. They had to do multiple drills and had to run during their practice. They do these drills to keep themselves fit and to help their legs from being stiff and sore. Also, the track coaches make sure the team is ready for their meets by having them run around the football field and by running back and forth across Roosevelt field.
