Water hydrates students

Being dehydrated is never a good thing in life.  The human body needs a lot of water throughout the day.  Students aren’t allowed to have water in class and this should be an immediate change to the rules for a lot of reasons.  The students of this school should be allowed water in class.

Statistics say men should drink 13 cups a day and women should drink nine cups of water a day.  People may say that the students can drink all of that after school, but that’s not healthy at all and a person shouldn’t drink more than a liter per hour. Drinking a lot of water in a short period of time could possibly kill a person.  An example of how students could drink water in class is allowing them to carry a water bottle around from home.

Another reason students should be able to drink water is because water keeps the body working properly, helps the body stay at the right temperature and prevents kidney stones.  The climate will start to get hotter because spring is coming, and it’s even more important to drink water and keep hydrated in warmer climate.

The principal may not want water in classrooms due to spilling but water doesn’t stain so when it dries up it won’t be noticeable at all that a spill even happened.  It’s unfair that teachers get to have water on their desk and drink it whenever they want and students can’t even have water bottles throughout the day with them.  Also, teachers could do random checks on students water bottles like stiffing the substance to make sure it’s water.

Water has a lot of health benefits and is life saving so why not allow it in class for students?
