Weekly words of wisdom

“There’s nothing interesting about looking perfect—you lose the point. You want what you’re wearing to say something about you, about who you are.”

This week’s quote is from actress Emma Watson. Watson is 24 and was born in Paris, France. Emma Watson had her breakthrough as an actress in the Harry Potter Series. Some other films that Watson is most recognized in is The Perks of Being a Wallflower and My Week with Marilyn. When Emma Watson was 15, she was on the cover of Teen Vogue. At the time, Watson was the youngest star on the cover of the magazine.

This quote was chosen to show that being ‘perfect’ is boring. If everyone looked the same and talked the same that would be so boring. Emma Watson is a fashion icon and she knows how hard it is to try and stand out from other models and actresses. Watson knows the importance of inventing yourself and not just being a copy. Like Watson says, “There’s nothing interesting about being perfect.” What does perfect mean anyway?
