Hola! I'm Alyssa Feather, a freshman and cyber student at the Altoona Area Junior High School. This is my first year writing for the Livewire. I have wanted to write for the school newspaper ever since I found out about it in seventh grade. I have always loved photography and writing. I would be the kid in the class who would actually be excited to write a TDA. Yeah I know what you're thinking. That's crazy! I have played the violin since I was in fourth grade, making this my sixth year playing. In my freetime, I am almost always reading or singing. Some of my favorite books are definitely Listening for Lucca by Suzanne LaFleur and Before I Let Go by Marieke Nijkamp. I love watching movies and my favorite one is 5 feet apart. A lot of my friends and family members describe me as an entertaining, outgoing and funny person. I always speak my mind and I believe in doing what's right. After I finish school, I plan to go to college and study law, and be a lawyer in the future. I live by Marilyn Monroe's quote “Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.”
