Contract. That’s the topic of this week’s blog. Miguel Cabrera of the Detroit Tigers. He is a first baseman and is a former third baseman. He is an elite player and is an important asset to the team.
He just signed a new contract with the Tigers. The contract is 10 years for $292 million. He is a good third baseman and now has moved to first base.
Cabrera has hit 365 homeruns in his career. He hit 44 in his 2013 season. He won the first triple crown award over three decades in his 2012 season.
The Triple Crown award consists of being first in homeruns, RBI’s(runs batted in), and batting average.
