This week Reel Time is going classic. The movie for the week is Tom Hank’s classic Forrest Gump.
“My favorite movie is Forrest Gump because it’s Forrest Gump,” Lance Puhatch said.
The film was a winner of six academy awards. Forrest Gump was directed Robert Zemmicks. Zemmicks has also directed Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Back To The Future and Romancing The Stone. The movie is about a young man, Forrest Gump, who is not so intelligent. He has accidentally been at many historic events during the Vietnam War, which his true love, Jenny Curran eludes him.
“My favorite character is Forrest Gump because I love Tom Hanks,” Puhatch said.
Forrest Gump was played by academy award winning Tom Hanks. Tom hanks is an actor, writer, director and producer. Forrest Gump is a true classic movie about love and showing how no matter who a person is they can achieve true happiness.

Forrest Gump is in my top ten favorite movies. It is hilarious and teaches life lessons. Tom Hanks is a great actor too.

Robert Zemmicks was a great director. I didn’t know he directed all those movie. There are so many life lessons found in Forrest Gump.
