Myah Lear

Myah Lear, Reporter

Hi! I am Myah Lear. I am a freshman and part of the AAJHS Livewire staff. I have played viola since the fourth grade. In elementary school, I participated in all city orchestra and all city chorus. After school, I hope to attend college to be a journalist. I made honors classes and am part of the honors society. Almost every Friday I volunteer at the Gloria Gates Memorial Foundation After School Program. My friends describe me as a caring, geeky, quirky person, and I take all of these as a compliment. I am excited to see what my freshman year will bring and to make some new friends throughout my high school career. One of my main hobbies is singing. Most people consider it to be one of my better talents. I also like anything that has to do with art. I like to paint, take pictures and draw. I also enjoy video games, movies and TV shows. I like to read, even though I don’t do it much. If I had to choose my favorite author it would be Brigid Kemmerer, and my favorite books would be Letters to the Lost and More Than We Can Tell, both by Kemmerer. I look forward to writing for the school newspaper and getting to know my fellow staff members.
