May 31We had a total of 214 sixth graders, 172 seventh graders and 149 eighth graders who received A pins and/or Academic Awards for the 2022-2023 school year.
” How do you feel about moving to the high school?”
“I’m excited to be meeting new people and making memories, learning from mistakes,” ninth grader EmmaRose Carothers said.“I’m glad we get more freedom, but the toilets don’t automatically flush,” ninth grader Alexiss Lyle said.“There will be more activities to do, so that should be fun,” ninth grader Sierra Claar said.“I heard there are more food options at the high school, so I’m looking forward to that,” ninth grader BreAnna Lord said.“I’m excited to meet new people,” ninth grader Jenna Lytle said, “but I’m nervous because it’s a new building and I might get lost.”“I’m excited to get new teachers and meet new people,” ninth grader Renee Tylor-Parsons said.“There will be a new variety of classes,” ninth grader Sara Socie said, “and I’ll get to move onto my second year of art class.”“I’m looking forward to the Clip program and the CTC,” said ninth grader Qaya Rulley.“I’m looking forward to making memories and having more things to do,” ninth grader Helena Bassler said.
