Steam Machine vs. Steam

Valve, the makers of Steam, released the Steam Machine with Alienware’s help.  Valve is struggling in selling their console for a variety of reasons.  The first issue is that Valve is competing with themselves.  The Steam Machine is a console that can play Steam releases of games.  The only issue is players can do that for free using Steam.  And for the price of the Steam Machine, a much better computer can be built.  The other problem is that users of Steam do not need another way to play their games.  One upside to the Steam machine is the controler.  The Steam Machine’s controller features a X, A, Y, and B buttons and a D-Pad and omni directional control stick.  Most gamers already own controllers though that are supported by almost every game.  The upsides of the Steam Machine are almost always counteracted by the capabilities of a computer’s.
