Peoples Natural Gas Field is the home of the Altoona Curve. The Curve is a double a affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Welcome back to another edition of Supporting School Sports

Check here for updates on upcoming sporting events.

This year the Altoona Curve is giving out Mountain lion bobbleheads to the first 1,500 people inside the stadium.  The Curve is calling this the “Altoona Area School District Night.”  This will be their first bobblehead giveaway of the season.  The game begins at 6:00 pm on April 22, 2016.  The will face off against Richmond.  This giveaway is presented by the Altoona Mirror.

The Altoona Curve is a Double-A affiliate of the MLB team The Pittsburgh Pirates.  Last year the Curve finished 74-68 which was second in their division.  Last season was very successful for all the of the Pirate affiliate teams.  The Curve is looking to have yet another great season this season.
