This week’s beauty help is the best alternatives to expensive makeup and different brands that can be found anywhere.

Instead of going out and spending an outrageous amount of money on a product that does not even work, try these dupes for the expensive makeup.  Once in awhile I love going out and getting that foundation or lipstick for something special, but they start to get expensive.

When looking for a mascara go for one that volumizes, lengthens and most importantly stays on all day.  For an expensive option,  Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara would be a perfect option.  This product comes to a price of $24.00.  This mascara does all of the above.  It lifts, volumizes, has good color pay and stays on until it gets wiped off.   For the less expensive option go for COVERGIRL LashBlast Clump Crusher Mascara  at a price of $7.95.  For being a non expensive mascara it does pretty well, it is lengthening and has good hold on the lashes, but it is also waterproof.  With the tiny close packed applicator it grabs all of your lashes and keeps them in place.

I always struggle to find a good foundation that stays on all day and doesn’t fall off within an hour, and the ones that work the best are Urban Decay’s NAKED SKIN Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup and Maybelline New York’s DREAM FRESH BB Cream.  Urban Decay’s foundation comes to a price of $40 and is well worth it.  It has a buildable coverage and makes my face look flawless.  Even though it is an expensive product, it pays off.  As for Maybelline New York’s DREAM FRESH BB Cream it has a very sheer and light coverage that is also buildable and will moisturize the skin very well.  At a price of around $7 it is very good.  On days I don’t want to much makeup on my skin I will apply a little amount of the BB cream with my concealer.

Concealers have also always been a hard thing as well until I found my two favorite ones.  SEPHORA COLLECTION Bright Future Gel Serum Concealer ($14.00) and Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Concealer + Corrector ($6.65).  Both concealers have a rounded flat applicator and are perfect for quick application.  Sephora concealer glides on and blends perfectly.  It stays on the skin all day and I don’t have to worry about reapplying.  Maybelline does mostly the same thing, it has a light coverage but will stay on all day.  It is blends easy and gives a great look to the skin.

A good eyeshadow for me is the Urban Decay Naked Basics.  It has all of the main colors to give a good eye look.  They are all matte colors in light to dark brown towns. Also at a price of $29.00 this palette is great and long lasting.  As a dupe for Naked Basics, go for e.l.f. Flawless Eyeshadow  in Beautiful Browns or Tantalizing Taupe.  These eyeshadows are a great alternative to Urban Decay.  They stay on all day and are highly pigmented.  The best part is that they are only$2.00 and have many different shades in different palette combinations.

All of these makeup brands can be found in place like Sephora, Ulta, Walmart or any drugstore.
