Tom Wolf is stalling budget bill

PA Budget stalling

Recent news going on within Pennsylvania.

Schools have been fearing they are going to have to lay-off teachers and educators. On Wednesday, the Pennsylvania senate said they would pass a partial budget. Governor Wolf said he would veto it. Republicans are saying the 6 million dollar spending plan is making an investment in public education.

The GOP plan was supported by a few Democrats, including Representative Frank Burns of Cambria County. Tom Wolf said that it doesn’t balance the budget problems and this state is facing or provide for needed improvements.

Many democrats are saying the Republicans are refusing to compromise. Governor Wolf is proposing a more than two-billion dollar increase to get rid of the deficit and boost school spending.
