Makeup Check✔

This week’s beauty help is how to get the perfect eyebrows.  Eyebrows can make or break a makeup look so do them correctly.

To start off make sure the brows are to the desired shape and size.  To do this use tweezers or get them waxed.  I prefer the option of tweezing because I know how I want them to be done and I can get a precise definition.  Once this is done take a mascara wand and brush the eyebrows down.  Draw a line on the top using a brow pencil, eyeshadow or pomade while making hair like strokes.  After that, define the arch of the brow with desired product and brush hairs back into place.

Next, take an eyebrow pencil or eyebrow pomade and begin to outline the bottoms of the eyebrow using small strokes the same way done for the top.  Brush hairs up to get a precise guide on where the brows should be placed. After this take an angled brush with an eyeshadow about one shade lighter than the hair color and begin to fill in any sparse area where there is no hair.  After there is a light fill, begin to fill in the whole brow so everything is the same color.

Once eyebrows are all filled use the mascara wand to brush to blend everything together. Then take a clear brow gel or clear mascara to set brows and shadows in place.  Take a white eyeshadow or highlighter and place it ontop of the brow bone to further define the brows.

The products I like to use the most are: Anastasia Beverly HillsDIPBROW™ Pomade, or Urban Decay Naked Basics color in Faint.  For the clear top I like to use Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel in clear, or Maybelline Great Lash & Brow Mascara in clear.
