Mock Trial club members participate in the Blue and White Classic Penn State competition

Ninth grade Mock Trial members Jazzmine McCauley, Karlie Thompson, Raquel Dunio and Caroline Danison competed in the Blue and white Classic Penn State mock trial competition. The ninth graders did not place but enjoyed the experience of being in mock trial Jan 14 and Jan 15.

Mock trial is a club where students act out simulated or actual court cases in a competition as lawyers or defendants.

Mock trial is a club open to grades ninth to twelfth grade. To become a member in ninth grade it is basically invite only.

Most of the students who joined when they were in ninth grade usually continued to their twelfth grade year.

Mock trial can prepare you for future careers.

“If you plan to be a lawyer in the future then Mock Trial is something you should definitely want to get into!” McCauley said.
