Museum Of Illusions Pittsburgh

Reversed room! This is the museum room inspired by the Pittsburgh Penguins. In this room, you were supposed to strike a pose, then rotate the image to make it appear as if you were defying gravity. Second grader Claire Hovan said, “This was my favorite room cause I looked super cool and like a wizard magic person.”
Canorus clouds! This is the museum “Infinity Room.” Multiple mirrors were installed all over the room to create an illusion of infinitive space.

Dazzlingly, defying gravity! This exhibit uses a structure of mirrors that help create an illusion of hanging from a building. There were many different poses you could imitate, which all created exciting pictures. (Emma Hovan)
Group events! MOI (Museum of Illusions) welcomes groups of all sizes. If you were planning on attending with a group of 15 people or more, discounts were offered. (Emma Hovan)
Classic illusions! This exhibit features some of the most famous optical illusions. Some included “Black Dot,” “Blivent” and “Floating Circle.” (Emma Hovan)
Crazy chair! This illusion is called the “Beuchet Chair.” The person on the chair platform appeared smaller than the person standing on the side. (Emma Hovan)
How to buy tickets! You can purchase tickets online or at the door. The cost per ticket was $25 for adults (13 +) and $20 for children (5-12). (Emma Hovan)
Legendary location! You can find them at the address 267 North Shore Drive. They were near the famous PNC Park, the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. (Emma Hovan)
The go to place for illusions! This museum is made to be a sensory and visual experience. It had over 60 exhibits that were designed to trick the mind. (Emma Hovan)

    Omg that looks really cool. I’ve always found optical illusions to be interesting. I will HAVE to check this place out next time I go to pittsburgh.
