It’s Reel Time. Thanks to eighth grader Josh Long this week’s spotlight is on Grown Ups 2.

Grown Ups 2 is a sequel of Grown Ups which came out in 2010. This movie is about Lenny Feder, Adam Sandler, moving back to his hometown to be with his friends and family. Sometimes the people of a hometown are crazy and in this gut wrenching film there are a ton of new characters that guarantee laughter from all.

Amongst all the new characters in the film, Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock and David Spade are still the main actors in the film. Rob Schneider wasn’t able to partake in Grown Ups 2 do to scheduling conflicts. The director of the film is Dennis Dugan who also is an actor and a comedian. Dugan also acted in and directed many of Sandler’s films such as Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy, Jack and Jill, Just Go With It and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.

This movie runs for 101 minutes and basically left a dent at the box office. The film had a gross of about 41.5 million dollars only in its first week in the US. Then its total gross was around 134 million dollars in theaters across the United States. So this weekend, snuggle up with the family and watch a great movie by the name of Grown Ups 2.
