The Varsity Jazz Band is preparing for their concert on the April 15. They have had extended practices for the last month and a half to prepare for this. On top of the upcoming concert they are also touring the elementary schools on the April 16 and 17. JonYon, the jazz band’s director, says that it is very important to make a good impression on the elementary students in order to recruit new members for the upcoming years. The jazz band has many performances this year and they are also participating in the Adjudication competition. Yon says that this is a busy year for the band, but he thinks they can handle it.
