It’s time to go back to the 80’s for this week’s Reel Time. This week’s movie is The Breakfast Club.
“My favorite movie is The Breakfast Club because it teaches a life lesson about friendship,” seventh grader Takera Jones said.
The Breakfast Club is about five completely different high school students who end up meeting in detention and find out who they are.
“My favorite character is probably John Bender because he has the hardest life, but he is also the toughest,” Jones said.
John Bender is played by Judd Nelson. The director and writer of the movie is John Hughes. Hughes also directed Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
The Breakfast Club is an amazing film because it shows that can everyone can be friends. This movie is a great movie for teenagers to watch because its soundtrack fits the movie perfectly.
