    Announcements for Friday, March 22!

     It’s time for Money Challenge 2024!!!  Bring in any change you have and give it to your homeroom teacher.  At the end of the week ,each grade will have 3 winners!!!!  The homerooms that have collected the most money will win donuts and a movie.  The 2nd and 3rd place homerooms will get a movie as well.  All proceeds go to the Sister Paula Food Bank.

    Attention 8th graders interested in the CTC for next year, applications MUST be submitted by Monday March 25th. If you need help completing an application please see Mrs. Stroh or Miss Koehle.

    Please wish our Mathcounts team good luck today as they travel to the State Competition in Harrisburg today.  The team members are Diego Gil, Evan Getty, Evan Marvich and Oliver Krainer.  Good luck team!

    The softball team swept Cambria Heights last night, winning the A game 21-6 and winning the B game 13-8. Emalyn Rickabaugh and Natalie Baker both went 2-2 in the A game, Emma Klein hit a double, and Madison Ball added 4 RBIs to lead the team to victory. In the B game, Audrey Douglas went 2-3 with a double, and Emma Klein went 2-2 with a triple. Emmalyn Rickabaugh had 5 strike outs closing the game out defensively.

    Reminder to all students: Smart watches and Cell phones are not permitted in the classrooms.  These are to be turned off and kept in your lockers.  If you are found with either of these on you throughout the day you will be disciplined accordingly.

    Attention 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th grade students:

    The AAHS Lioneer Dance Team is announcing that we will be using an in person tryout format for Lioneer tryouts.

    All students entering grades 9-12 for the 2024-2025 school year are eligible to try out.

    Please email Mrs. Schmoke at [email protected] if you are interested in trying out. Provide your name, grade and school email address.

    Tryouts for the Lioneer Dance Team will be held on Thursday, April 18th at 2:45pm and will end at 5:00pm.
