Welcome back students, for another edition of Supporting School Sports. This week has been full of sporting events and still some games and matches are left.
The annual maroon and white boys’ basketball game was held last Friday. The ninth grade maroon team beat the white team in a blowout victory, the score was 51-34. The ninth grade boys will face off against Cumberland Valley on Saturday Dec. 22. Be sure to come support the ninth grade maroon boys’ team.
The ninth grade girls’ basketball team beat the eighth grade Bishop Guilfoyle girls in a victory with a score of 36-25. The seventh and eighth grade white girls’ basketball teams play Park Forest today in State College. Make sure to wish them good luck for their game.
The wrestling team has a match today against Bald Eagle Area; come out and support the wrestlers as they match up against one of their biggest rivals.
