Beyonce pays tribute to Michael Jackson at the 2016 super Bowl

Over the weekend Beyonce released her new single “Formation” and performed a mashup of songs at the Super Bowl featuring Bruno Mars and the main performer Coldplay.  Coldplay  was supposed to be the star of the show but Beyonce stole the show with her hair, voice and costume that paid tribute to the king of pop, Michael Jackson. The theme of this year’s Super Bowl halftime show was to represent the past, present and future. Michael Jackson sang at the Super Bowl halftime show back in 1993, and it was one of the most watched halftime show in Super Bowl history. Beyonce wore a black body suit  with fishnet tights and a black and gold leather jacket similar to the one Michael Jackson wore in 1993. Beyonce told the media that since it was Super Bowl 50 she decided to pay tribute to her favorite performer.
