Students prepare for upcoming track season

The students at the junior high get excited when this time of the year comes around, especially the seventh graders. There are not a lot of winter sports, except basketball and indoor track, but indoor is mainly for ninth through twelfth graders. Once track season hits, most of the students have cabin fever. They are ready to go outside and breathe in that fresh air.Track has many different things that the students can do. Some of these things are pole vault, throwing, sprinting, hurdles, and long distance. Those are the main parts of track, but there are parts that go along with those different categories. Also, the teams are split up. Seventh and eighth grade are for the junior high while the ninth graders are for the high school since they are, technically, a part of the high school.
