Weekly update of your school sports’ team
Welcome back students, for another edition of Supporting School Sports. This week has been full of sporting events, and still some games and matches are left.
The wrestling team has an away match this week against Mifflin County. The match is on Wednesday, January 6, 2016. It’s an away trip so if you see a wrestler make sure to wish them luck for their match.
The maroon boys’ team has three games this week. A game on Monday against Mifflin County at home. They play Mount Nittany Wednesday, but it’s an away game and all three grades play. Their last game this week is against Johnstown; it’s an away game. Only eighth and ninth grade play. The eighth and ninth graders have another away game on Friday Jan. 8, 2016.
The white ninth grade boys’ basketball team has a game Thursday Jan. 7 against Allegany, MD at home. The eighth and ninth graders have a showdown against OLV; it’s an away game, make sure to wish the boys luck.
The ninth grade girls’ team doesn’t have a game until Jan. 11, 2016 against Mifflin County at home at 3:30.
The maroon seventh and eighth grade girls’ have a game Jan. 7, 2016 against Mount Nittany, and it is an away game. The seventh and eighth grade white girls’ team plays Park Forest Jan. 8, 2016 at home at 3:30.
