News Brief: Music Program Announces Live Small Groups Concert

The vocal ensemble, chamber orchestra, and jazz bands are holding their first live outdoor performance of the school year! In the last few weeks, youths have worked hard and learned much from their skilled instructors. They are eager to showcase their musical abilities for the public.

At the concert, the school has guaranteed Coronavirus safety by asking viewers and students to socially distance and wear masks. Family and friends are encouraged to watch the performance from the parking lot located outside of the high school’s new B building entrance, facing Roosevelt Field.

Jessica Connell, vocal ensemble advisor, said, “We are happy and excited to get to put something out there!”

The students and advisors of the school’s chamber orchestra, jazz lab bands and vocal ensemble will hold the concert on Tuesday, May 4 at 7 p.m. with free admission for those wishing to view the performance.
