The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!)  is a new program sponsored by the Blair County Chamber of Commerce and supported by Sheetz, Inc. and UPMC Altoona.

This is the first year for the program and it is open to students in grades 6-12 (11-18 years of age).   It is designed for students who are creative and innovative and have a drive and desire to start their own business.   Acceptance is by an application and interview process. The program will run November through May with students attending sessions at Penn State Altoona’s Sheetz Entrepreneurial Center.
