“I feel like it should require a sense of humor. It must also show a sign of care. A plain old gift that isn’t easily forgotten. It should be memorable. It should be simple but not over the top. The crafting paper should be something you made by yourself and be creative. It can be filled with foam to search for it like a fun little game. If you get a simple gift, don’t get a one that they can easily throw away or sell,” ninth grader Christine Gordan said.
“It shouldn’t be big, because I don’t like big gifts. I would love if it wasn’t too expensive. I would like to get something sporty that I enjoy using. In my opinion, basketball, football or baseball may be awesome gifts,” eighth grader Cheyenne Corson said.
“My personal preferences is the size doesn’t matter as long as they get me something that I like. Sentimental value is important because people can get you little trinkets and stuff you like. Sentimental stuff is like your name, birthday and pictures of you,” eighth grader Jack London said.
“It requires thoughtfulness and effort. For example, giving them sweet words on a card along with the gift. It also requires a lot of thinking about what they like and desire. A neat gift would be like a teddy bear or any stuffed animal,” seventh grader Sienna Smith said.
“Something from the heart. It doesn’t have to cost a lot of money. I would love if the gift was thoughtful. I also think it’s much better to have a thoughtful gift rather than a meaningless expensive gift. The gift doesn’t matter, but the only thing that matters is the thought,” ninth grader said Karley Coble.
