Semester switch provides change

The semester has come to an end.  Students switched to other elective classes on Tuesday, Jan. 17, which made some changes to class schedules.

“The switch is a good change for the students because they will get a feeling of what high school will be like,” said Jerry Koehle eighth grade principal.

This schedule change comes with the benefit of adding a variety to your schedule.

For sixth and seventh graders, some of the electives offered in eighth grade are: foods for healthy living, technology education, pottery and sculpting, drawing, painting, and many more.

“Having an open mind to a class change lets the students know what high school will be like with being able to pick what electives you have,” said Koehle.
