Lydia Newman, Writer
Lydia Newman is a freshman at Altoona Area Junior High School. Along with Livewire, she is in reading competition and is a sound and light technician for AAJHS’s Drama Department. Lydia is also a devoted writer in her spare time. She is very passionate about art, no matter what form. Whether it is photography, illustration, writing or performing, Lydia gives all art her all. She plans on attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania as a literature major after high school, then pursuing a career as a novelist.
