Hello! My name is Sophia Moran and I am a part of the staff! I am a member of the student council, National Junior Honor Society and the varsity softball team. Outside of school, I participate in the Keystone Girls Softball League and the Sideline Cancer Travel Softball Team. I love to take pictures of my dog Milli, the sky, animals and with my friends. Some of my favorite things are traveling/the beach, fall, softball, animals, sunsets/the sky, baking, decorating for the holidays and hanging out with my friends and family. In the future, I would love to travel the world and my dream place to visit is Greece. I’ve always loved writing, so I can’t wait to see what this year brings for me!

A day of fun! Roar-A-Palooza took place on May 12 during the school day, and it was for eighth graders only. Students got to watch a movie, put tickets in to win raffle baskets, eat pizza and snacks, participate in sports activities, socialize, relax and enjoy the beautiful day outside!

Let's get all these pets adopted and into their furever homes! The Humane Society is located at 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., in Altoona. They are closed on Mondays, but the rest of the week they are open from 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. besides Friday's where they close at 7 p.m. If you have any questions or interests in adopting, visit their website or stop by the shelter!
