Hello! My name is Melissa Krainer, and I’m a staff member of Livewire. Writing has always been one of my greatest passions, and I am very excited to be part of the news-reporting team this year! I spend a lot of my free time crocheting, reading and working on math puzzles. I’m a member of MATHCOUNTS and am a Chamber Orchestra violinist. I have participated in IMLEM, Odyssey of the Mind and Kangaroo in the past. Additionally, I speak both German and English fluently.
